Tournament information

The Babe Gantt Golf Tournament is an annual golf tournament in honor of Granite City resident Babe Gantt.  

We are a 501(c)3 Not for Profit Organization.

Tournament

The tournament is a four-person scramble.  The 2024 tournament will be on Saturday, October 5th.  Registration starts at 7:00 AM, and the shotgun starts at 8:00 AM.  See the Past Tournaments for pictures.

All skill levels are welcome.

Prizes

We award prize money to the 1st and 2nd place teams in each flight.  Additional prizes include:

• Longest drive (male and female)

• Closest to the pin

• 50/50 and attendance prizes

Food

During registration, breakfast is available.  Muffins, Danishes, coffee & juice are provided.

Hamburgers, bratwursts, hot dogs, chips, water & soda are provided throughout the tournament.  Each golfer receives three beverage tickets, as well.

Scholarship

Proceeds of the golf tournament benefit the Babe Gantt Scholarship.  Each year, we award a scholarship to seniors at Granite City High School, Granite City, IL, Edwardsville High School, Edwardsville, IL, and Madison High School, Madison, IL. See the past recipients here.
